Working principle of spiral plate heat exchanger

Spiral plate heat exchangers are generally used in the chemical industry. The equipment has two passages. The two coils are combined with a fixed-distance column to form a cylindrical equipment. The two media flow in opposite directions in the two passages. The hot and cold fluids pass through the flow channel in sequence, and there is an interlayer plate in the middle to separate the fluids and exchange heat through the plates. The structure and heat exchange principle of the spiral plate heat exchanger determine that it has the characteristics of compact structure, small footprint, high heat transfer efficiency, large operating flexibility, wide application range, small heat loss, and convenient installation and cleaning.
